We are very pleased to introduce a preview of the new Strateas-Carlucci HRDWRE line which will be shown in Paris next year.
Materials are all sterling silver. Some with high polish on the interior. Some pieces will be oxidised.
They are also introducing some discretely precious stones – black sapphires etc.
The inspiration was mechanical, rigid forms – parts and pieces of machinery.
Solid and masculine were key words during the process.
The design process was to create hand-crafted wax forms and then turn these into moulds.
Each piece is hand worked : A human touch to create a machine-like sheen.
