“Spaces of Thought” is a series of pictures submitted to STEALTH by 23 year old photographer and design student Philipp Altheimer.
Phillipp is based in Munich and has been inspired to collaborate with the hide[M] store there and the artisan labels they stock with the aim of trying to express a garment’s soul and spirit and transform it through photography or film as the main media.
These particular images are an attempt by the Photographer to express certain intellectual values (e.g. dignity, wisdom and modesty) whilst avoiding the excessive staging often found in the hyper-stimulated fashion images of our time.In other words keeping things simple.
His choice of equipment was also made with the intention of adding a subtle warmth to the series and emphasizing a purist approach in order to leave space for the imagination of the viewer.

The images were taken on a medium format camera using Kodak Tri-X 400 and Ilford HP5 Plus 400 films and have been scanned after processing.
